China has announced economic sanctions against 28 US defense contractors by prohibiting the export of dual-use products. The list includes major companies such as General Dynamics, Boeing Defense, Space & Security, Lockheed Martin Corporation, and Raytheon Missiles & Defense. Beijing's Ministry of Commerce cited the need to safeguard national security and interests, and fulfill international obligations including non-proliferation.
